Using the Voyager Pro+ headset

Answer a call - Tap the call control button once
End a call - Tap the call control button once
Reject a call - Tap the call control button once
Redial - Double-tap the call control button
Activate the phone's voice dialing Press the call control button for 2 seconds, until you hear a tone
Transfer call to/from phone - Press the call control button for 1 second while on a call
Mute - Press and hold both of the volume buttons (+ and -) for 1 second while in a call
Music play/pause - Press and hold both of the volume buttons (+ and -) for 1 second while streaming music or video
Reconnect lost connection - Tap the call control button

How to Pair the Voyager Pro/Voyager Pro+ with a PDA or other Bluetooth Device

To pair your Voyager Pro/Voyager Pro+ with your phone or other device:
1. On your cell phone, make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Start with the headset powered off. Press and hold the power button for about 5-6 seconds until the light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Release the power button and set the headset aside.
3. On your cell phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for (or add) a device. The cell phone should find the headset. The Voyager Pro appears as "ProPlantronics" in your list of devices; the Voyager Pro+ appears as "Voyager PRO+".
4. If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros). Note: Do not be alarmed if your phone does not prompt you for a passkey, because many phones do not.

What you will hear ....When you will hear it

Power On ... After pressing the Power button for 2 seconds
Power Off ... After pressing the Power button for 2 seconds
Talk Time (6, 5, 4...less than 2) hours ... After powering the headset on and after ending a call
(6, 5, 4...
less than 2) hours

Battery Low ... When you have under 30 minutes left before you must recharge the battery
Recharge Headset ... When you have approximately 10 minutes left before you must recharge the battery
Connected ... After turning the headset on or reconnecting a dropped Bluetooth signal
Phone 1 Connected ... After powering the headset to “on” or reconnecting a dropped Bluetooth connection
Phone 2 Connected ... After pairing a second phone using multipoint feature
Pairing ... While the headset is in pairing/discoverable mode
Pairing Successful .. After the phone paired successfully to the headset
Pairing Incomplete, ... After the phone failed to pair with the headset
Restart Headset
Volume Maximum ... When you reached the highest volume level after pressing the volume up (+) button
Mute On ... After pressing the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons at the same time during a call
Mute Off ... After pressing the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons at the same time while on mute during a call
Lost Connection ... When the phone loses the Bluetooth connection with the headset

Checking Voyager Pro+ Battery Level

You will hear the available talk time when you turn on the headset, as well as at the end of each call. To check the battery level in between calls, press the power button.

iPhone users are able to check the battery level right on their phones. The headset battery meter appears in the upper right corner of the screen, to the left of the iPhone battery meter.

To remove the eartip:
1. Gently push the eartip into the speaker housing (A), and then rotate it a quarter turn to the left to unlock (B).
2. Pull the eartip away from the headset.

To install an eartip:
1. Align the tabs on the eartip with the slots on the speaker housing.
2. Gently push the eartip into housing while turning it a quarter turn to the right.
The eartip will stop rotating when it is locked.
2. Optional: Fit the foam ear cushion over the ear tip to provide additional comfort.

Adjusting the Fit of a Voyager Pro Headset

Recommended placement
For the best sound clarity and comfort, make sure your headset fits securely and is placed with the microphone boom pointing towards your mouth.
To find your best fit, try wearing the headset on each ear, as well as using different sized ear tips.

You may find that the headset fits more comfortably and securely on one ear in particular. To adjust the headset to fit your other ear:
1. Pivot the boom into an upright position.
2. Rotate the boom and speaker to the other side of the headset and lower it before fitting the headset on your other ear.

Try a different size eartip
The headset comes fitted with the medium size gel eartip. If the eartip feels loose or tight in your ear, you should change it.
