Q. How do you Reset a CS70(N) system?

A. If you experience acoustic or power problems with Plantronics CS70 or Plantronics CS70N, try a system reset as follows:


The headset and the base unit are supplied subscribed to each other.
If you wish to use a replacement headset you must re-subscribe the new headset.

Q. How do you Subscribe (pair) a second or replacement CS70(N) earpiece to the base?

A. To subscribe a new CS70N earpiece to the Base:


Note:If you wish to use the same Plantronics CS70/CS70N wireless headset system on the same telephone on a multi-shift environment (multiple users), you can purchase additional CS70 headsets and use the Re-Subscribe (Multi-Pair) procedure.

Q. How do I replace a CS70(N) battery?

A. Plantronics CS70 or Plantronics CS70N wireless headsets do not have replaceable batteries. After the battery dies, you will need to replace the entire earpiece with another one.
Plantronics no longer make the CS70 model (only the CS70N) or a replacement headset for CS70. However, you can use the same replacement headset for the Plantronics CS70N, Plantronics part number 72910-01, on your CS70. This is a noise canceling headset, unlike the CS70 headset which is only a voice tube (without background noise canceling). Typically the battery in the CS70/CS70N will last anywhere from 1-3 years, depending on usage.
