Plantronics has upgraded it to the CT14, improving on the simplicity of a cordless phone headset system. The CT14 has longer talk time and runs on the 1.9GHz frequency, so it will work interference free for up to ten hours! The CT12’s battery life was only 5.5 hours.
You might consider the completely wireless Calisto Pro. It has all the advantages of the CT14, but the connection between the headset and the remote is through Bluetooth, so you are completely wire-free.

Ultra-compact dialpad features an integrated belt/clothing clip and includes all standard phone functions. Noise-cancelling microphone eliminates distracting background noise.
