Multi-Shift Pairing allows you to use a different Supra Plus Wireless headset with your base. The headset and base come paired to each other. If a alternate operator wants to use a personal headset, a Multi-Shift Paring procedure will allow a second headset to share the same base unit.
Before your start, ensure the inteliStand switch on the RHS of the base is in the "up" - single-bar - position, so the headset will not automatically become active when lifted from the charging base.
1. To enable the multi-shift pairing feature, push and hold the volume "+" button on the back of the charging base until the red power light (on the front of the base) starts to flash.
2. Place the "active" headset into the charging base and immediately press the + button on the headset itself until you see the small green light on the headset come on and flash.
3. Wait for that green light on the headset to go out. Your primary headset is now paired to the base,
and you can lift it from the base and select the centre Call Control button on the headset to link and connect
to the desk phone.
To disable the multi-shift pairing feature, press and hold the volume "-" button
on the back of the charging base.
Please NOTE: *Only the last headset paired will work with the base *
The second "inactive" headset can be placed in the charging cradle so it will be ready for the next shift user.
Note that when the inactive headset is placed on the base for charging, the active headset in use will be
temporarily disconnected from its paired base unit. You will need to push the Call Control button on the headset
so that it will reconnect with the base again.
Once the second headset is charged and placed on the original base a re-subscription/pairing process must be done for the base to recognize the new headset
When in Multi-Shift mode, the inactive headset can be paired as follows:
1. Place the inactive headset in the charging cradle. Red light on base will flash briefly.
2. Press the "+" volume button on the headset until the headset light goes green. Wait for the headset green light to go out. Now the second headset is paired. Lift it from the cradle, select the headset Call Control button, and the Talk LED on the top of the Base will go solid green, and the headset Talk LED will be flashing.
The primary headset may now be placed in the cradle for charging.

Tip 1: you may notice that the talk indicator LED on the inactive headset will be flickering. This is a search indicator, and can give you an indication of which headset is NOT paired to the base. To disable the flicker, select the "+", "-" and "Call Control" buttons on the inactive headset simultaneously for several seconds until the flickering stops. Then you can set the inactive headset aside or place it on the charger base.
Tip 2: How can you tell which headpiece belongs to which user?
There is no techno-way to do this. Be creative! Tie a piece of coloured yarn to your personal headset, or snap a
piece of "bling" onto the headband to identify which is yours.
Tip 3: If you are running alternating shifts (there will be some cross-over between users), Headset B for Person B
will have already been sitting in the charging Base for several hours, and just needs to be "Paired".
e.g. lift it from the cradle, place it back in the cradle, "Pair" is as described above, then take it out of the
cradle and place headset "A" in the cradle for charging.
However, if alternate users each work several days in a row, then you will need to place "your" headset
back in the charging base from one day to the next to keep it recharged. On the last day of your routine
place the alternate headset in the Base so it will be ready for the next person to use.
Make an arrangement with your "alternate" as to the order for doing this, so the headset for the next shift is
always charged when they come on duty.
