The EnGenius DuraFon PRO 4-port Industrial Cordless Telphone System is a long range, multi-base, multi-line telephone and 2-way radio
communications system, providing users unparalleled mobility and flexibility. With sophisticated digital signal processing and high
quality hardware designs, the DuraFon Pro provides long range communications in a wide variety of settings including multi-level office
buildings, hotels and resorts, convention facilities, warehouses, farms, constructions sites, and other demanding business environments.
The unique 2-way radio feature allows handsets to communicate with each other as digital full-duplex 2-way radios.
The DuraFon Pro offers some improvements and new features over the DuraFon 4 X, including:
- Speakerphone capability of the PRO handsets
- Multiple base registration (allowing 2 way / broadcast with all), whereas the 4x is limited to base specific
- Up to 90 hasndsets in a system compared with 36 max. for the 4X
- Broadcast through a line port

* Notes on DuraWalkie configuration and range
(1) The DuraWalkie is not a standalone unit. It supplements the DuraPro system as a lower cost walkie talkie handset for handset-to-handset
communications.
(2) The handset-to-handset range of the DuraWalkie is around 300 feet depending on terrain.
(4) The DuraWalkie handset can make calls to the DuraPro handset in walkie talkie mode, and vice versa.
(3) You cannot make outside calls through the DuraPro base using the DuraWalkie.
(3) A DuraPro handset can transfer calls from the DuraPro base to a DuraWalkie handset, thereby extending the effective range.
